Dr. Vivian Umeozulu is a dedicated physician with extensive experience in both primary care and behavioral health, including addiction medicine and mental health treatment. Dr. Umeozulu earned her medical degree from the University of Nigeria and completed her postgraduate training in internal medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. Her strong foundation in internal medicine allows her to take a comprehensive approach to patient care, addressing both physical and mental health needs.

Throughout her career, Dr. Umeozulu has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including telehealth, primary care, addiction and mental health clinics, and veterans’ health services. She has experience evaluating and treating patients with a wide range of conditions and is particularly skilled in addiction treatment, including medication-assisted treatment with buprenorphine. She has also completed specialized training in Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care.
