Patrick Harry Charles is a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered mental health care. Patrick earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from Eastern Kentucky University. His clinical training includes extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients across a variety of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings.
He currently provides telepsychiatry services, where he evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with a wide range of mental health and substance use disorders. His expertise includes medication management, dual diagnosis care, and treatment of patients in outpatient, residential, and intensive outpatient programs. He also works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Patrick spent many years working in intensive care and trauma units, caring for critically ill patients and developing strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and patient advocacy skills. His background has shaped his holistic approach to mental health, recognizing the close connection between physical and emotional well-being.
