Dr. Inderpreet S. Virk is a board-certified psychiatrist with specialized training in addiction psychiatry and extensive experience treating patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He is dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered mental health care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Dr. Virk earned his medical degree from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital and completed his psychiatry residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he served as Chief Resident. He further advanced his expertise by completing fellowship training in addiction psychiatry at UCLA and the Veterans Affairs system in Los Angeles.
His clinical experience includes providing inpatient psychiatric care, working in psychiatric emergency settings, and managing patients with a wide range of mental health and substance use disorders. Dr. Virk has also worked in outpatient clinics and brings strong experience in medication management, psychiatric evaluation, and coordination of care.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Virk has contributed to psychiatric research and has published multiple articles on topics including substance use, schizophrenia, and treatment-resistant conditions.
