Dr. Alvin Scott Parker IV is a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered mental health care across outpatient, inpatient, and telepsychiatry settings. He has extensive experience treating adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, with a strong focus on expanding access to psychiatric services.

 Dr. Parker earned his medical degree from the American University of Integrated Sciences School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at East Carolina University.
He currently serves as Director of Outpatient Psychiatry, where he has developed and expanded a comprehensive outpatient psychiatry program. In this role, he also trains and supervises residents, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, demonstrating strong leadership and commitment to education.

Dr. Parker also works as a Medical Director, leading and overseeing a telepsychiatry program that supports numerous healthcare practices and provides care to a broad patient population. Additionally, he provides inpatient psychiatric services through telehealth, ensuring continuity of care across settings.

His clinical approach emphasizes collaboration, individualized treatment planning, and the use of evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes. He works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

Dr. Parker is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is an active member of professional organizations including the American Psychiatric Association.
