Dr. John Isaac is a dedicated psychiatrist committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health care. He takes a patient-centered approach, working collaboratively with individuals to support their mental health, overall well-being, and long-term recovery.

Dr. Isaac earned his medical degree from the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. His training focused on serving medically underserved communities, equipping him with strong skills in treating diverse populations with complex mental health needs.

He currently serves as a staff psychiatrist within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, where he provides comprehensive psychiatric care to individuals in a correctional setting. His work emphasizes rehabilitation, stability, and successful reintegration into the community.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Isaac has a strong background in education and research. He holds a PhD in Education and has served as a university professor and academic coordinator, with a focus on improving access and success for underrepresented groups in education and healthcare. His research interests include social determinants of mental health, health disparities, and improving outcomes in underserved populations.

Dr. Isaac is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and is committed to combining clinical excellence with a compassionate, respectful approach. He strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, empowered, and actively engaged in their mental health care.
