Trisha Contarino

I am a licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist practicing in the state of California (PSY 31082). I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and later went on to complete my Doctorate in Clinical and Forensic Psychology with honors from Alliant International University.

My name is Dr. Contarino, I am a licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist practicing in the state of California (PSY 31082). I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and later went on to complete my Doctorate in Clinical and Forensic Psychology with honors from Alliant International University. I have received extensive training and supervision in psychological and forensic assessment. I have been employed with California Department of Corrections since 2016 and have worked on crisis team and assessment team.  Prior to that I completed my pre doctoral residency at Metropolitan State Hospital conducting evaluations and providing treatment on the forensic and civil commitment units. 

In psychotherapy, I provide a safe, neutral and supportive space to facilitate growth and empowerment. My goal is to help clients develop effective coping skills and insight to life’s challenges. My specialties include: life changes, substance abuse, women’s issues, relationship issues, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, stress associated to being a first responder/law enforcement, and family conflict.
